This September, Reinvntd CIC is bringing Sustainable Fashion Week to Wolverhampton with a weekend of thought-provoking conversations, conscious shopping and creative workshops.

Taking place from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September 2026, our opening-weekend programme invites local residents, artists, makers, families, students and businesses to explore how we can rethink our relationship with fashion.

Whether you want to join an important conversation about overconsumption, discover independent sustainable businesses, learn a new creative skill or introduce your children to upcycling, there is something for everyone.

Sustainable Fashion, Art & Business: Panel Talk and Networking

Friday 25 September 2026 | 6:00pm–9:00pm

Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Lichfield Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1DU

Free to attend

What can art and fashion teach us about the way we consume and how might creativity, innovation and business help us build a more sustainable future?

Join Reinvntd CIC for a special panel discussion inspired by Wolverhampton Art Gallery’s internationally significant Pop Art collection. Emerging alongside the rapid growth of advertising, mass production and consumer culture, Pop Art provides a fascinating starting point for a modern conversation about what we buy, wear and discard.

Using fashion as a lens, our speakers will explore overconsumption, circular business models, material innovation, repair, reuse and the roles that artists, designers, businesses, local authorities and communities can play in creating positive change.

Hosted by Maya Patel, Founder and Director of Reinvntd CIC, the discussion will be followed by audience questions and an opportunity to meet and connect with other attendees.

The event forms part of Wolverhampton Art Gallery’s Friday Lates programme, Wolverhampton Business Week and Sustainable Fashion Week.
