This South Asian Heritage Month, Reinvntd brought stories to life, one patch at a time. From 21st - 22nd July 2025, the Utopia Lounge at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton, was transformed into a vibrant hub of colour, creativity, and connection.

At first glance, renting clothes seems like a sustainable alternative to buying new ones. It promises less waste, fewer garments in landfills, and the appeal of a constantly refreshed wardrobe. But as with many things in fashion, the reality isn’t so black and white.

Founder of Reinvntd CIC, Maya Patel, took to the TEDX Wolverhampton stage to deliver a talk, “Reinventing Fast Fashion and Textile Waste.”
